Website Quick-Start Guide
This post is a Quick-Start Guide for making a website on Boomla! Keep reading to learn how to get started with setting up your website.
Getting Started
Visit boomla.com
On the top right of the page, click “Sign up” and enter your information in the input fields
After signing up, click “Templates” on the top center of the page
Decide on a template you want to use, and then click the “Clone” button
When asked what kind of domain you want to use, select the “Choose a subdomain” option
Enter the subdomain name you would like to use and then click “Next”
Click the “Open” button
Creating a Homepage
After opening your website, the template you picked will already have a homepage setup
To edit the text on the homepage, click the “Text” icon on the top left (shown below)
Click the text on the page that you would like to change, and then start typing
When you are finished, click the “Save” button on the top left
To edit the images, click the “Layers” icon on the top left
Hover over the image you want to delete, right click on it, and then select “Delete”
To add a new image, open your files and drag the image to the website
Adding a new page
To add a new page, click the “Layers” icon on the top left
Hover over one of the pages on the template website, then right click and select “Copy”
Right click on the page, and then select “Paste before” or "Paste after"
To add a second page, right click on the page and select "Paste before" or "Paste after" again
To edit the title on the new pages, click the “Text” icon on the top left
Click the title and then start typing what you want
When you are finished, click the “Save” button on the top left
